On the occasion of its annual congress in Stockholm on June 8th, the European Rental Association awarded the Kiloutou Group the new Sustainable Development Award for its commitment and innovative actions in this field.
The jury rewarded the Kiloutou group for the coherence of its approach, which covers the major aspects of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental.
Thus, the quality of the management and organization mode deployed in the regions, and all the concrete actions described in the renter’s CSR annual report were welcomed. The operational aspects of the Group’s approach were also noted, notably with the calculation of carbon emissions from equipment, optimization of transport, the test center, KMO used equipment sales center, recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment and hazardous industrial waste. Finally, the jury welcomed the completion of the Group’s CSR Annual Report.
This prize also rewards Kiloutou’s commitment to social responsibility, illustrated by the creation in 2013 of its Qualifying School, as well as the evolution towards the Sustainable Development of the Group’s three historical values: a passion for the client , taste for performance and trust in Man.
