Kiloutou is committed to supporting professional’s return to work

To support companies’ resumption of work, the KILOUTOU group has engaged in a recovery plan for its equipment rental network based on a schedule to gradually open its agencies and a protocol of measures designed to guarantee the safety of its members of staff and its clients.

In the light of the Covid-19 pandemic, leading to an unprecedented health and economic situation worldwide, the KILOUTOU group immediately took measures to guarantee the health of its members of staff and those close to them, its clients and suppliers, in each of the countries where the equipment rental company is present.

In line with the French government’s announcements, KILOUTOU thus decided to close all its agencies across the country.

This prevention period has been put to good use by the KILOUTOU teams to build a national recovery plan to serve professionals, particularly those from the construction sector, in complete safety while ensuring that KILOUTOU members of staff are fully protected.

Effective measures for renting with peace of mind
This recovery plan is based on a safety protocol, tested as of 2 April in four pilot agencies and designed to be perfectly aligned with the health recommendations guide developed by OPPBTP (French organisation for the prevention of occupational hazards in the construction industry) with the professional organisations concerned.

Involving all KILOUTOU’s members of staff who work with professionals on a daily basis, it sets out a series of simple and concrete measures for renting the desired equipment with peace of mind:
– Compulsory reservation by telephone;
– “Contactless” pick-ups and returns in drive-through mode in the agencies’ car park;
– “Contactless” deliveries and returns on the building sites;
– Double cleaning of the equipment using a bleach solution for rental pick-ups and
returns.

Scheduled reopenings all across France
This exceptional safety protocol will be applied in all the agencies concerned by the gradual reopening program that KILOUTOU has undertaken to effectively support professionals’ resumption of work.

The reopening schedule began on 2 April. At present, it covers all the administrative regions. Between 150 and 200 agencies should be open from the week beginning 8 May.

“We are experiencing an unprecedented global crisis. The entire management team is closely following the situation with the priority aim of protecting the safety of our members of staff and our clients. This responsibility compels us to now offer a recovery plan, considered with KILOUTOU’s members of staff that complies with the recommendations by official bodies, in order to support our professional clients in complete safety gradually resuming their business activity. I wish to assure them of our desire and commitment to continue to build a relationship of trust with them, which becomes even more meaningful when we must face up together to exceptional circumstances like those we are currently experiencing.”
