The Kiloutou Group has just acquired Alvecon, a specialist in the rental of equipment and scaffolding in the regions of Navarre and the Basque Country in Spain. This transaction allows Kiloutou to continue its development on the Spanish market.

Alvecon is a major player in the rental of fixed equipment and scaffolding in the regions of Navarra and the Basque country. Their network includes 3 agencies (including two in Pamplona and one in Vitoria) and a workforce of more than 40 people. The company has a fleet of more than 1000 machines (loaders, shovels, small equipment …), supplemented with fixed scaffolding and site elevators, which it makes available to a professional clientele made up of craftsmen, SMEs and major national building and public works accounts.

This acquisition will enable Kiloutou to expand its position in Spain and to enrich its services by offering the customers of the two companies the complementarity of the networks and a wide range of equipment. Kiloutou will draw on the experience and know-how of the Alvecon teams, which will retain a large degree of autonomy to continue to develop the business and offer its customers an increasingly high level of service.

«This acquisition enables Kiloutou to pursue its international expansion and expand its network in Spain to two very dynamic regions in the north of the country. In addition to the three branches openings we have created this year in Barcelona and Madrid, it illustrates our desire to be one of the leaders in the Spanish market by bringing together high-quality regional actors, strong local presence.»
Xavier du Boÿs, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Kiloutou Group

«We appreciate Alvecon’s commitment to its customers and partners, which we would like to thank for their confidence in us. We believe that the acquisition of Alvecon by the Kiloutou Group will enable the company to accelerate its development by backing its strengths to those of a European leader.»
