The Kiloutou Group has just acquired MC LOC, a company specialized in the rental of modular buildings, located in Normandy and a subsidiary of the manufacturer Martin Calais. This transaction enables Kiloutou to pursue the deployment of its Module activity on a national level. Kiloutou Module now possesses 9 agencies in France.
MC LOC is a leading player in the rental of modular buildings in the Normandy region. It has a fleet of nearly 3,600 modules that it makes available to a clientele of industry and construction professionals from its site in Le Havre.
This acquisition enables Kiloutou to speed its development in the modular space rental market in France, following the acquisition of Locamodul in February 2020. Kiloutou Module now possesses 17,000 modules and covers the regions of Normandy, Ile-de-France, Hauts-de-France, Pays de la Loire, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes with 9 agencies dedicated to the rental of modular buildings for all types of facilities and space requirements, such as site living bases, offices and storage.
According to Olivier Colleau, CEO of the KILOUTOU Group: “This acquisition contributes to our ambition to become a leading player in the modular space rental market on a national level and is fully in line with our strategy as a multi-specialist of Kiloutou in France. I am delighted to welcome the 23 MC LOC team members who will be a major factor for the development of Kiloutou Module in the region ».
Etienne Knapp, President of the Martin Calais Group, said: “I am pleased with the acquisition of MC LOC by the Kiloutou Group. The quality of the submitted project was an essential element of the discussions. I am convinced that this merger will enable MC LOC to continue its development with success. For the Martin Calais Group, this cession is part of the strategy of refocusing its industrial production activities and the project management of real estate projects, which are booming.”
